CT Certified Work Ready Communities (CWRC) empowers counties and states with process, data and tools deployed in a common workforce development framework to drive economic growth by certifying counties as work-ready communities when established goals are attained.

In Indiana, Delaware, Rush, Randolph, Wayne, Henry and Fayette Counties are taking part in a county-level pilot to directly engage with the ACT CWRC effort. They are pioneers in leading this initiative in Indiana.

Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC): Meeting The Demands of the Manufacturing Industry

Program organizers, class instructors and sponsors alike agree that the Winchester Advanced Manufacturing class set the bar high for future success.

The program, sponsored by the City of Winchester and WorkOne Eastern Indiana, prepares unemployed and underemployed people to meet the demands of the manufacturing industry. The course focuses on safety, production quality, ethics, production processes and maintenance in the workplace.
