Randolph Central School Corporation offers a broad spectrum of curriculum and opportunities for college and career ready students.  Randolph Central’s high school, Winchester Community High School (WCHS), delivers over 50 dual credits that can apply towards a Bachelor’s Degree, Industry Certification, or other special training certificates.

Currently, WCHS is in the emerging stage for an Early College designation in partnership with Ivy Tech Community College, Muncie, Indiana, so students can earn essential credits to complete up to their first two years of a Bachelor’s program.

For the career-ready students, WCHS offers successful Career and Technical Education courses like Introduction to Manufacturing and Advanced Manufacturing I and II where students can earn high school credit and up to six (6) college credits from Ivy Tech as well as the Manufacturing Processes Certification and Maintenance Awareness Certification.

This program was expanded to provide adult courses in Advanced Manufacturing at the school site and is benefitting the local workforce in this area; employers have the opportunity to have designated employees trained during the evening hoursin the high school CTE Wing.

Further, WCHS offers a Construction Trades course with a commercial focus, so students can earn four (4) high school credits and six (6) dual credits from Ivy Tech using the National Center for Construction and Education Research Core Curriculum.

These programs are a result of meaningful collaboration and partnership between Randolph Central School Corporation and the City of Winchester, the Winchester Redevelopment Commission, the Randolph County Economic Development Corporation, Work One, Ivy Tech Community College-Muncie, and other interested parties.
