Horse-Friendly Community

Did you know horses are already allowed within city limits and on highways?  Riders have to follow the rules of the road just like vehicle drivers.  In addition, there is established etiquette for riders and those encountering horses.

Being a horse-friendly community opens up new possibilities for those with disabilities and others needing alternative transportation.  Plus, it is just fun seeing horses!

As the initiative grows, merchants are encouraged to add shaded “parking spots” with fresh water.  Riders must also clean up after their horses!
